Welcome to the Rider Spotlight series from 2Wheelers.ca — where we celebrate the people behind the passion. First up is a rider, leader, and entrepreneur who’s not only blazing trails on the road, but also in the motorcycle business world: Erin Mitchell.
Meet Erin Mitchell
Erin is the proud owner of Black Bridge Harley-Davidson in Cambridge, Ontario. As one of the few female-owned Harley dealerships in Canada, she’s built more than just a shop—she’s built a hub for connection, education, and moto culture.
A lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, Erin grew up around bikes and developed her love for riding early. She didn’t just stick to the saddle—she took charge of the entire garage. Today, she leads one of Ontario’s most rider-focused dealerships.
Leading the Way
Under Erin’s leadership, Black Bridge Harley has become a community centre for riders of all backgrounds, especially women. Her mission is clear:
“We’re not here to be spectators. Women ride, wrench, lead—and we’re just getting started.”
She organizes:
- Women’s riding events and meetups
- New rider workshops to make the sport more accessible
- Community-focused ride days, often supporting local causes
She’s helped shift the narrative around women in riding, from being passengers to being pioneers.
In Her Own Words
“The dealership isn’t just about selling bikes—it’s about building confidence, breaking stereotypes, and giving women a place to feel at home in the riding world.”
Erin’s presence in the Canadian moto scene continues to grow—not just because of her shop, but because of the genuine energy and care she brings to the riding community.
